4 Days Ngorongoro & Serengeti Safari

Your safari begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to Ngorongoro. You will descend to the Crater Floor then enjoy a full day of game drives at the floor and have picnic lunch at the Hippo poolside picnic site. After lunch, you will continue with game drives in the Crater floor in search of the Big 5 animals. Ngorongoro Crater is also famous for bird life and at the Lake Magadi at the middle of the crater floor you can see, flamingos, pelicans Egyptian geese, and many more aquatic species. Other birds include the hammerkop, Lilac-breasted rollers weavers and many more. Later in the evening, you will drive up the Crater Rim and proceed for check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at your lodge, you will depart for the most famous and the first national park to be gazetted in Tanzania; The Serengeti National Park. On your way, you have the chance to visit Olduvai- Gorge where human fossils were discovered by the Leakey’s family suggesting that mankind started in Africa. Inside the Serengeti, you expect to see lots of animals all year round but it is the Migration herds that amaze many travelers. You'll enjoy a safari at Serengeti towards your hotel and later check in for dinner and overnight stay.

Wake up for breakfast and proceed for a full day of game drives in the Serengeti plains with picnic lunch taken at one of the designated sites, or if you wish you can do an early morning game driGet up at dawn when predators are most active. The morning game drive offers great chances to spot the Big Five (lion leopard elephant rhino and buffalo). Don't forget sunscreen and a hat since the plains offer minimal shade. Your guide will pick prime viewing spots based on where animals are migrating that season. You'll have a packed lunch to maximize time watching wildlife till late in the evening. Later return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Check out at the lodge and start exit the Serengeti and then drive through the Ngorongoro conservation and finally exit the Ngorongoro towards Arusha or be dropped off at the Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward plans.
